What devices are NFC Compatible?

• Anyone can have a Tapni on their phone regardless of the model they have 🤩
• They don't connect to the phone they are on, they connect to the phone they are sharing information with.
• Even if the other person doesn't have a phone on this list, you can still share your information with your QR code located in Tapni App (upper right corner)!

 iOS Devices:

• iPhone 6/6S/6+ — Not Compatible
• iPhone SE/7/7+/8,/8+/X/ XS/ XS Max — Compatible 
  If you are sharing with one of these devices, follow the below steps to activate their NFC reader:

Step 1: Go to "Settings"

Step 2: Click on "Control Centre"

Step 3: Scroll down and find the "NFC tag reader" under the "More Controls" section.

Step 4: Once found, tap on the "+" to add it to your control centre. 

Step 5: Exit the Settings app. Launch the Control Centre and tap on the NFC tag reader icon.

Step 6: Simply hold your device on your Tapni product and it should automatically pop.

On iPhone the NFC reader is at the top of the phone in the center. See below image. Here is more information for iPhone users.

The location on Android devices can vary, but it is typically found near the center of the device. Samsung and Google provide more detailed information about the location on their respective devices.
